A FOOL'S CO COMMUNITY

Freddie's Food Scraps Quest: A Rukenga Kai Story

A Fool’s Company (with support from Auckland Council) are proud to be offering an educational theatre show (led by actors Georgie Llewellyn Shead and Melissa Cameron) teaching tamariki about the council’s residential food scraps bins and their environmental benefits!

The show follows young Freddie, a Food Scrap Fairy in training. Her mission is to help the people of Tāmaki Makaurau make sure their food scraps are saved from the terrible ‘Land of Phill’ and are
transformed into magical resources. To earn her wings and wand, Freddie must pass her final test; retrieve her magical rukenga kai (food scraps) bin and save Sammy the Sandwich who has been
lost and abandoned in the Land of Phill!

We are now touring Auckland Primary schools and Community Groups! Check out the below for contact details if your school or community group are keen to book a performance!
